Golf is a social sport and it's important to understand golf etiquette. A lot could be written about golf etiquette but it boils down to respect.
- Respecting the game by being familiar with and following the League Rules of Golf
- Respecting the course by leaving the course as you would like to find it by repairing ball marks and divots, raking bunkers, not using the head of a putter to remove a ball from the hole and if possible, not dragging your feet on the green.
- Respecting members you're playing with by being sportsmanlike, polite and keeping a good pace of play for those who are playing behind you.
